Are these things "actually" tasty?
Damn right they are. All of our flavors have to pass the kid test - meaning our kids have to give unanimous approval. Yeah our kids are picky eaters and yeah, they love them. If you crush sodas and eat snickers for breakfast we may not be your greens smoothie of choice.
Do they mix well with protein?
Yep! We don't add protein because everyone has their favorite protein. Switchback Greens Smoothies shake extremely well with a variety of protein powders from whey, pea, soy, and even peanut butter powders. Let us know what you shake it with!
How often should I drink one?
We drink Switchback Greens Smoothies daily, thats how I lost nearly 60 pounds and lost my prediabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. We suggest one a day for 15 days - if you don't feel the change let us know. Healthy changes need to be easy and sustainable which is why I created these.
What's in them?
Each greens smoothie has 8 simple superfood ingredients or less - all of which you can pronounce. We thoughtfully and carefully select our superfoods to make the most nutrient dense smoothies without added junk. If it isn't real, it isn't in our smoothies.
Why are your smoothies more expensive than my greens powder?
Switchback Smoothies are created through a freeze drying process that preserves the nutritional integrity of our fruits and vegetables. While other drying methods are cheaper, many of them destroy 90% or more of the valuable fiber, vitamins and minerals.
If a powder isn't working, it isn't you its likely them - and it might be time to break up. Most powders on the market are stripped of nutrients by the processing - killing off most vitamins, minerals, and natural fiber. (The good stuff!) Our mission is to make healthy convenient, not sell something that is green in color pretending to be healthy.
If your 30 day supply of greens powder is less than 1/2 of our 30 day supply of greens smoothies chances are the greens powder is probably all filler.
What about organic?
Cost. Simply put. We are about getting more fruits and veggies into people and understand some people might want organic.
